Auditions

Auditions for the 2010-2011 program will be held January 29, 2010. To be considered for an audition, diplomas are not required but it is expected that singers have advanced training in vocal technique, sight-reading, musicianship, language studies and possess some stage experience. Preference is given to applicants between the ages of 20 and 32. To request an audition, a complete updated curriculum vitae must be submitted by December 18, 2009 along with two letters of reference in sealed envelopes and mailed to:

Applicants will be notified at least 2 weeks prior to the audition as to whether or not they have been accepted for an audition. An accompanist will be provided at the audition at no cost to the applicant. Applicants may also bring their own accompanist. Audition requirements: 3 operatic arias of contrasting style, presenting at least two of the following languages: Italian, French, German, English.
